Open Access Policy

Precarpathian Bulletin of Shevchenko Scientific Society. Word” follows a policy of immediate open access to published content, supporting the principles of free flow of scientific information and global exchange of knowledge for general social progress.

Precarpathian Bulletin of Shevchenko Scientific Society. Word” adheres to the principles of DORA (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment) as well as the FAIR principles for research data. All research-related data must be findable, accessible, compliant with generally accepted standards, and suitable for reuse (FAIR – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).

We ask authors to deposit the data underlying their research in appropriate repositories. References to all published datasets must be included in the article metadata. The Editorial Board encourages authors to describe research datasets in accordance with the FAIR principles and, where possible, to make them available under open licenses.

The journal allows authors to deposit a preprint or postprint of their article in an institutional or subject repository, provided that, in the case of a postprint, a reference to the original published version of the article in the journal is included.

The journal follows Diamond open access model. It is a publishing model where the final peer-reviewed article is immediately and permanently available for free to anyone, anywhere, online. It offers high visibility. There are no submission or publication fees in our journal. An article submission and its processing, i.e. peer-reviewing, editing and publishing, are free of charge for authors.

Single-author articles by PhD students and Master’s students are also published free of charge, as well as articles authored solely by PhD students and/or Master’s students.

Authors can additionally order a printed version of the journal, which provides for reimbursement of the printing cost.
