EXPANSION FRAME IN THE SYSTEM OF EXPANDED SENTENCES OF MODERN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

In modern linguistics, the question of defining and analyzing sentence expanders remains extremely relevant. Expanders serve as important elements in the formation of lexical and syntactic structures, enriching the content of sentences, clarifying their meanings, and performing various functions in communication. The definition of expanders becomes an important topic in the context of research, as they exhibit the diversity and variety of language phenomena. The goal of this article is to analyze the role of sentence expanders in modern Ukrainian language, their impact on semantics, syntax, and pragmatics, as well as to explore various types of expanders within the context of expansion frames. The research aims to identify the functions of these structures, their influence on semantics and the emotional context of utterances, and their role in enriching the text and creating rhythm. Research Methodology. Textual analysis: Analyzing literary works by prominent contemporary Ukrainian authors to identify typical patterns of using expansion frames. Semantic analysis: Studying the significance that identical expanders provide to the text, focusing on the semantic relationships between the initial and final components of sentences. Stylistic analysis: Evaluating the rhythm and emotional impact created by such constructions in utterances and how they contribute to the overall stylistic coloring of the work. Comparative analysis: Comparing examples from different authors to identify specific stylistic devices in Ukrainian literature. Research Results. The study showed that expansion frames with identical expanders at the beginning and end of a sentence effectively enhance the main idea of the utterance. They create a sense of coherence and rhythm in the text. The repetition of expanders emphasizes key features, drawing the reader's attention to important themes and emotional aspects of the narrative. Such constructions form rhythmic patterns, making the text more vibrant and expressive. They highlight romanticism or nostalgia, depending on the context. The use of expansion frames is an important element of the author's style, reflecting the complexity and emotional richness of Ukrainian literature.
