Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the effects of surgical treatment of varices in the lower extremities, ie the complete removal of varicose veins on the dynamics of blood pressure in patients without hypertension and concomitant hypertension.

It also demonstrates the need for a compression test in patients with concomitant hypertension to prevent the development of isolated diastolic hypertension as a result of the removal of part of the vascular bed, which are the subcutaneous veins of the lower extremities.
