The journal is included in the list of scientific professional periodicals of Ukraine (the decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1081 from September 29, 2014, sciences - physics and mathematics, engineering; updated decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 886 from July 02, 2020, sciences - physics and mathematics, engineering;).

The primary foundators were Ivano-Frankivsk Department of Shevchenko Scientific Society, Vasyl Stephanyk Precarpathian National University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
