AXIOLOGICAL ASPECT OF UKRAINIAN GLOBALIZATION

Abstract

The current state of development of human civilization is indicated by the expansion and deepening of globalization processes that comprise almost all countries and identify the main trends of the world economy and politics. In contemporary global society where space and time are narrowed, borders disappear, people start to depend on each other a lot more than a dozen years ago and values are changed more quickly. The problem of globalization as one of the main problems of modern perception of the world every time become more considerable in economic, sociological, political and other studies. Instead, it seems that to this problem is not given appropriate importance in regard axiological dimension of globalization. Therefore, in this article is considered the Ukrainian axiological dimension of globalization.

The consequence of globalization is the instability that affects the values, which have been formed by generations. Globalization undermines the internal stability of culture and distorts it. The social disorientation was a result of globalization. An indication of the present is value-orientational confusion of human, caused by globalization. However, the impact of globalization on the value system is not clearly negative, but also has positive aspects, because globalization opens up wider access to the values of national cultures, contributes to their mutual enrichment. In particular, the new values - borrowed or even imposed in conditions of globalization - make it possible to adapt to the current conditions of globalization period. In addition, the process of globalization can be seen as a push for self-preservation and a way for national cultures "express themselves", acquainting the global cultural community with its original values. Globalization requires from local cultures not unquestioning obedience, but selective perception and development of new experience and values of other civilizations.

With the development and globalization of the world a new, post-industrial civilization formed the foundations of a new value paradigm that was based on the achievements of previous civilizations. The values that are enshrined in world religious systems and have a common human nature, are stable and a priority for society. These basiсs of values include: the cumulative experience of demarcation between good and evil, the strengthening of democratic moral and ethical standards, priority of human rights and others. Thus, the creation of an open society for dialogue of national cultural values, their integration not only mutually enriches national culture, but also creates conditions for the realization of its uniqueness, internal integrity and independence.
